About
Art With Impact Gallery
Our Mission
Art With Impact Gallery is an organization founded to make the greatest impact possible to help our world through Art.
AWI Gallery is exclusively created by artists to have the greatest impact possible to preserve and protect our threatened species and places.

Our Present Cause
Our present cause is The Peregrine Fund, headquartered at the World Center for Birds of Prey in Boise, Idaho. The Peregrine Fund has operated for over 56 years and remains at the cutting edge of species conservation and recovery for raptors that are Threatened or are on the brink of extinction. Their revolutionary global programs are at the forefront of saving species like the Peregrine Falcon, the Harpy Eagle, the Northern Aplomado Falcon and the California Condor, as well as many others around the world.
The Process: How We Acquire the Art
Fine artists often sell their master works for thousands of dollars to a single individual and the original painting is never reproduced.
At AWI Gallery, we aim to make these incredible works of art accessible while supporting important causes.
The artist keeps the original work and we ask the artist if we can make a single run of high quality archival Giclee prints from the original painting at our expense. The artist donates the prints to our organization and gives us the right to sell the prints. The artists set the number of prints in the run and receive three artist proofs that the artist may inspect and keep so we may meet their quality standards. We then produce, advertise and sell the prints on our website or at special events or art shows.
This process gives our organization the opportunity to offer fine art prints affordably to the public while providing access to art that is not normally available in print form. Proceeds (after expenses) are donated directly to the nonprofit organizations.
It is a Win, Win, Win for the generous artists, the public and most of all to the organizations in need of help.
Once art has been allocated to a cause, which happens prior to being posted on our website, the designated cause does not change. All donations generated from print sales for each specific piece of art will continue to go to the same cause.
Our Artists
CC WARI
aka Cathy Conner Jordan
CC is a mixed media artist specializing in the medium of India ink etching as well as painting with oils and acrylics. Her art has taken her around the world doing works for the Singapore Zoo, the Los Angeles Zoo and the Hong Kong Ocean Park. Her passion is with birds of prey, and as a 30 year resident of Boise, Idaho, she has worked on portraits of several of the endangered inhabitants at The Peregrine Fund World Center for Birds of Prey based in Boise.
India ink etching is an often challenging process that is unforgiving in its nature. It begins with a heavy paper coated with a thin layer of white kaolin clay which is then coated with black India ink. CC etches the ink away using fine knives and even finer hypodermic needles revealing the dramatic image of her subject matter. CC is known for achieving incredible detail in her works and capturing the spirit and soul of her subjects. Some of her larger etchings can take up to a year to complete. In some of her works she further embellishes the image with oil paints that gives another dimension to her art.
“Her works are truly amazing and bring her subject matter to life, whether a whale, a raptor, a tiger or eagle, her work flies off the paper and into your home. She is truly an extraordinary artist .”
Ted Hammond, curator of the Hong Kong Ocean Park
Kathy Wipfler
Born and raised in California, Kathy Wipfler has called Jackson, Wyoming home since 1978. Drawn to the open spaces and the spectacular scenery of the region, Wipfler finds beauty not only in the landscapes, but also in such scenes as driving cattle and harvesting hay, activities she experiences first-hand living on a working ranch.
Her canvas may include a wide variety of subjects including landscapes, wildlife, domestic animals, coastal scenes or rural ranch life. However it must be said, no matter what her chosen subject, Wipfler’s excellent ability to capture a sense of place consistently provides the viewer with an emotional attachment to that particular scene.
A plein-air painter, Kathy Wipfler notes in an interview with ‘Southwest Art’ magazine, “There’s no excuse for not going to the source – if you are a landscapist, you go to the spot”. Wipfler’s confidence allows her to take advantage of her emotional response to the landscape. “Painting is a mix of things about what is happening and responding to it,” she concludes. “By working outdoors I directly channel intellectual and emotional responses in color, composition, value and mood.
Wiplfer has two paintings in the permanent collection at the Whitney Museum of Western Art in the Buffalo Bill Museum of the West in Cody, Wyoming. They are hanging prominently next to an important painting by Albert Bierstadt.
Wipfler gives credit for her inspiration to fellow artists and mentors Bill Reese, Ned Jacob, Skip Whitcomb, Hollis Williford and Greg McHuron.

Johnny Vaughn
Johnny Vaughn is a fine art painter specializing in Oil Paintings of western scenes and portraits of Native Americans. Johnny Vaughn’s art has hung for decades in fine art galleries from Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico to Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona. Johnny’s art was routinely exhibited at juried shows taking home many prizes along the way. The artist specializes in western ranch life with all its vast grandeur and colorful past depicting cowboys on the ranch, horse roundups and numerous historical characters. His pencil and charcoal portraits of Native Americans are so accurate in their detail that they are mistakable as black and white photographs. Johnny has a way of capturing the spirit of his subjects with an intensity and an authenticity that makes you feel as though you are there in their presence. When you look into his work, you see the history behind the image. His portrait of “Standing Bear” reveals its story to you on the canvas.
Johnny’s love and appreciation of the Indigenous Nations is evident in his work and revealed in the reverence behind his brush strokes.
Johnny Vaughn’s eye is exceptional and his perception keen, his color palate and mastery of color development is exemplary by any standard.
Many collectors of fine Western and Native American art seek out his works. Johnny Morris (owner creator of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Stores) purchased over 10 works for his exclusive “Top of the Rock” restaurant and art museum in Branson, Missouri, “a 5 star crown jewel” at the top of Johnny Morris’s exclusive resort. Johnny Morris also commissioned a 6-foot by 9-foot canvas of President Theodore Roosevelt that was presented to Johnny Morris by the director of the Smithsonian Institute in Lake Tahoe at a dedication ceremony also attended by Johnny Vaughn. The grand presidential painting was then moved to “The Wonders of Wildlife” museum in Springfield, Missouri, voted the best wildlife museum east of the Mississippi. Many other collectors have also sought out Johnny’s paintings sending another 10 works to an oil baron in Canada. Johnny Vaughn’s work comes to life upon the canvas and is a sought after addition to any western museum or private collection.
Johnny continues to paint and now resides in Florence, Oregon. He treasures the wild Cascades and the breathtaking coastal beaches and waterways.
Johnny served his country and is a decorated veteran being awarded a Vietnam Service Medal, an Air Medal, and a Bronze Star.
He firmly believes that: “The artist lives inside us and those who are called to paint are driven to do so. It is a journey that begins with our inexperience and insecurity and develops through trial and error into a confidence that trains you to trust in the voice that whispers what to do. It compels us to pick up the brush and paint until the canvas comes to life. If it’s in you, it’s in you and it’s up to you to pull it forward and that applies to everything in life” Johnny Vaughn.

The Inspiration for the AWI Gallery, by CC Wari
When she turns to look at you, and her eyes fix on your position, it feels as though you are suddenly thrust under a spotlight, captured in the intensity of her gaze. The first time I saw her at the World Center for Birds of Prey, it gave me chills from head to toe. She was massive, the largest eagle I had ever seen. Osa’s feathers swayed atop her crest as she cocked her head to look at the faint image of myself behind the glass. The docent approached me remarking “Amazing, isn’t she?”
