The Condors were on the brink of extinction only 20 years ago with only 22 individuals left in the world. The Peregrine Fund and its partners helped to bring this species back from near extinction with their breeding programs at the World Center For Birds Of Prey in Boise Idaho. This powerful, dramatic painting depicts the Condor in all its glory soaring among the crimson canyon walls.
